Every 5-Series Muscle Ramp™ is precision-engineered and built adhering to the latest Aluminum Association Specification and Guidelines for Aluminum Structures. Each gangway is fabricated using 6063-T5 tempered aluminum alloy, a salt-resistant material that delivers long-lasting performance in the harshest marine environments.
Our unique proprietary 5-inch structural beam profile incorporates a patented fulcrum and sigma (half-moon) design with an integrated decking cutout. This feature allows the decking to lock directly into the beam - minimizing twisting, improving rigidity, and reducing the number of fasteners required. The result: a sleeker, stronger gangway that performs under pressure.
Precision Design for Real-World Demands
Our proprietary upright and diagonal members are engineered with a 3-inch wide extrusion that blends square and rounded features for optimal load handling. The decking itself consists of 1”x 6" interlocking aluminum planks with a knurled, slip-resistant surface to ensure safety in wet conditions.
To simplify installation and maintenance, the 5-Series gangway includes a 6000-series aluminum piano hinge with a 1½" schedule 40 removable pin - making setup and removal fast and convenient. The low-profile roller system, crafted from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW), provides a smooth transition from dock to gangway while maintaining a minimal step height.
All fasteners are 304 stainless steel, and all welding meets the ANSI/AWS D1.2-97 standard - ensuring every weld is smooth, strong, and free of sharp edges or oxidation.

Our engineering team designs every 5-Series Muscle Ramp™ to meet and exceed the most rigorous industry standards, including ASCE 7, the 2020 ADM Aluminum Design Manual, and International Building Code section 1111.4.9 for recreational boating facilities.
