The Cleat Angle is bolted to the inside of the side stringer and uses a WD-W washer plate as a back up. The cleat is bolted through the deck and through the cleat angle. The slotted holes allow for various size cleats to be used. This cleat assembly ties your cleat into the docks framing and not just the deck board. We also offer an extra large cleat angle for cleats larger than 12".
