How to Use The Helping Hand Dock Post

Floating Dock Stabilizer
Heavy boat wake or choppy water makes walking down a floating dock feel like a balancing act. The Helping Hand can be installed at key intervals to provide a stationary “check-point” to grab onto, steady your sea legs, and regain balance before moving on.

Boarding Assistant

The awkward gap between the dock and boat deck is where most slips happen. Place the 40” High-Five model right at your slip to allow you to hold onto while stepping onto the boat with confidence.

Kayak Launch & Lift

Getting in and out of a kayak can be difficult. Use the 28” Low-Five model to act as a rigid anchor point, giving you the leverage to lower yourself down or pull yourself up effortlessly.

The Ladder Topper
Swim ladders usually end right at the deck level, making the final transition the hardest part. Mounting the Helping Hand next to your ladder gives swimmers a high vertical grab bar to pull themselves up and over the edge without crawling on hands and knees.

The “Anywhere” Grip
Carrying coolers, fishing gear, or wet towels can make navigation tricky. Mount a Helping Hand near fish cleaning stations, power pedestals, or bech seating to make the day easier. The 40” High-Five model includes an eye hook for attaching hanging items like buoys or lanterns, or securing a rope.
