Handrail Profile Design
Engineered for enhanced performance and safety, the handrail system on our aluminum gangways features meticulously designed handrail uprights capable of withstanding various loading scenarios. The diagonal and upright extrusions are strategically engineered to maximize the live-load capability of the gangway. Our distinctive handrail upright and cross beam profile, combining square and rounded elements, provides exceptional strength under transverse and non-transverse stress. The handrail uprights are securely welded to the gangway frame, and diagonal beams are attached using corrosion-resistant stainless-steel bolts. For universal accessibility,
ADA handrail options are readily available.

Beam Profile Design
Achieve unparalleled structural integrity with our meticulously engineered aluminum gangway beam profile:
#1 – Cutout for decking: Allows the decking to float inside the beam, on top of the fulcrum, resulting in less stress and twisting of the complete gangway structure. This floating decking design enhances the overall lifespan and stability.
#2 – Fulcrum (triangle): Allows the weight on the decking to disperse directly in the center of the beam reducing bending, twisting, and stress on the gangway structure. This triangular fulcrum ensures efficient weight distribution and minimizes structural strain.
#3 – Sigma shape (half-moon) design: Allows the weight on the gangway to disperse vertically through the side beam. This shape centers the stress through the center of the beam and acts like a spring to absorb stress. This half-moon beam profile provides excellent load management and shock absorption.
