Cross Creek Park, located in Washington County, Pennsylvania, is home to the largest all composite public access floating dock system in the nation. The system is the crown jewel of a new interactive project undertaken by the Washington County Parks & Recreation and will be known as “Discovery Cove”.
The docking system encompass 7,820 square feet and includes three 20’x60’ platforms connected by 520 feet of floating walkway and six of our patented 5-Series aluminum gangways, creating three points of access and features an ADA compliant switch-back.
The dock is as close to “no-maintenance” as anything we have made to date. The dock frames and decking are made with Owens-Corning RFP material carrying a 25-year commercial warranty, the system is supported by Eagle Floats that have an industry leading 15-year warranty, the dock hardware and gangways are fabricated by American Muscle Docks & Fabrication, the dock sections were designed and factory assembled by American Muscle Docks & Fabrication and the entire system was installed by Beavers Marine. All major components were proudly made, built, and installed in the USA.
